David is Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Investment Officer, and Co-Founder of American Triple I Partners. He is responsible for developing and directing overall business strategies; building trusted relationships with asset and investor partners; leading high-quality investment decisions; and enforcing adherence to compliance, legal, and operating guidelines and policies. David was formerly a Managing Director with Brevet Capital, a New York City-based investment firm founded in 1998. Among other responsibilities, he headed Brevet’s firm-wide Government Financing Programs. He is experienced in various facets of fund management, including originations, underwriting/structuring, and asset management. David also served in a variety of roles during his career – lawyer, accountant, corporate executive, and investment professional. David was formerly a CPA with Ernst & Young, Los Angeles and was a practicing international and corporate attorney for 25 years, including his experience in public finance at O’Melveny & Myers, Los Angeles. David formerly served on the Board of Mirage Energy Corporation, a start-up developer of natural gas storage facilities outside of the United States, and the Board of Onko Solutions, a development stage medical device company. He was also a Senior Advisor to Civitas Capital Group, an alternative investment firm.
David is a former member of the Texas Finance Commission and the Texas Credit Union Commission having been appointed by then Texas Governor Rick Perry. David holds a Juris Doctor with honors from Georgetown Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Loyola Marymount University.
As Vice President of the Vanir Development Company and Executive Director – Healthcare for Vanir Construction Management, David Chung manages the expansion of Vanir’s healthcare expertise for both entities. Mr. Chung is a returning executive to Vanir, having previously held the position of Healthcare Market Sector Leader.
A seasoned healthcare development and construction management executive, Mr. Chung has more than 25 years of experience providing value creation and partnering with prominent healthcare systems to deliver exceptional healing environments. His expertise includes planning, design, construction management, financial modeling, acquisitions, dispositions, entitlements, portfolio management and complex negotiations. Additionally, his previous executive leadership roles within noteworthy healthcare systems allow him to draw from this experience and unique operational understanding from the healthcare system perspective to deliver successful project solutions.
Prior to joining Vanir, Mr. Chung held key leadership roles within the industry including serving as Corporate Senior Vice President of Development for Healthcare Trust of America (NYSE: HTA), Vice President of Development at Duke Realty Healthcare (NYSE: DRE), as the Regional Director of Real Estate & Construction for Providence St. Joseph Health System for Western Washington and as Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, California. During his career, he has held other key related roles such as a Principal within a prominent architectural firm, Healthcare Design Studio Leader and Executive Vice President of Development.
Mr. Chung earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and his Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California.
Jensen Clarke is a senior member of Fengate’s infrastructure investment team and is responsible for P3 partnering and project development across Canada and the US. As the firm’s business development and teaming lead, Jensen is focused on a strategic roster of high-profile P3 pursuits across North America. His most recent resume includes the LAX Consolidated Rent-a-Car Facility, Macdonald Block Reconstruction Project, and Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor Long-Term Care Homes Project.
Prior to joining Fengate in 2013, Jensen was a senior member of the transaction finance group at Infrastructure Ontario, a Crown agency with a mandate to build and modernize vital public infrastructure and maximize the value of government-owned buildings and land.
Jensen holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Gurpreet is a Partner at PwC and the Health Services Sector Leader for the United States. He has responsibility for all PwC lines of service (Advisory, Assurance and Tax) at all Payer and Provider/Health System clients. He is also the lead Global Relationship Partner for many of PwC's key Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences clients.
He was previously the Advisory leader for Health Services, the Management Consulting leader, and the Technology Strategy leader for Health Industries (Payer, Provider and Pharma/Life Sciences) at PwC.
Gurpreet is responsible for delivering strategies that enhance growth, improve financial performance and leverage emerging technologies to gain competitive advantage.
He has expertise in Health Information Technology/Digital Strategies that drive innovation, Patient Outcomes and Real World Evidence. He also has expertise in Pharma & Life Sciences Research and Development, Mobile Medical Applications (MMAs) and Pharma commercial operations (sales & marketing)
Prior to PwC, Gurpreet was the Managing Partner for the Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences practice for Diamond Management and Technology Consultants.
